EVOLUTION OF ACHITECTURE AND INDUSTRIALIZATION

Industrialization is an aspect which has grown with architecture over time. This is when prefabricated elements are brought to the sight of constructionin order to bring improve architecture and construction in many ways. A way in which this is improved is economically, a sample of a constructive element such as beam can be fabricated in a factory and brought into sight ready to be placed in the construction. An other way in which prefabricated elements benefit architecture is when talking about time-wise terms; it saves time during the constructive period since elements are brought ready to put-in-place.

During the contemporary period and modern period of architecture, architecture evolves in many different ways. Not only it evolves in the sense of industrialization but also in the way in which architecture is designed. Many architects write manifestos on their opinions and ways of designing the newcomming architecture.
An example of this would be the text "Towards a plastic architecture" by Theo Van Doesurg. In this text the author explains what is to him a new kind of architecture, the neoplastic architecture. In this text he does it within sixteen points which explains everything that, for him, a new type of architecture should accomplish.
The fisrt point thet Theo Van Doesburg whites about in his text is form. He states that for a good development of architecture there should be an "elimination of all contept of form", starting any architecture from zero, leaving aside any prefixed styles and models. The functionality of the spaces will define the building, which is based on rectangular surfaces which will allow their fluid movement.
Van Doesburg explains that neoplasticism is also based on openings. THe architecture consists of open walls which join the interior to the exterior. He explains how walls are not structural now supporting elements. Supporting elements are only spontaneously used when necesary. The main objective of this is to create a clear and big ground plan. Van Doesburg mentions the importance of light, color, material..., in plastic architecture. He shows how we should think outside the box in architecture keeping these factors into account to make the architecture more plastic.
Finally, Van Doesburg talks about  other pints on his text; such as, symmetry. He is aganst symmetry in neoplastic architecture; and how architecture has to be ecnomic and environmental leaving aside ornamets.

Industrialization and evolution evolve together, industrialization evolves together as architecture evolves. These both elements influence the way in which architecture varies over time.
